Probably should have posted this here…
This is a paper by Noakes et. al. in which he discusses LCHF and mentions its relation to T2DM.

Could you explain what this is? I’m not clicking an unknown link

(Marc) #3

Hang on a second…

(Scott Shillady) #4

links in the title of post do not work, You are going to put a description of study for the title then put the link in the body of your post

(Marc) #5

Oy Vey! That wasn’t easy. I think it’s readable now…

(Luke Jeffery) #6

Thanks.

Outstanding! That looks like something to print out and take to the doctor’s office with you. :bacon:

[I killed the duplicate post too]

Fantastic article! Thank you…I have it bookmarked now and part of my arsenal of “show me the science”!

I havr “saved” it also (bookmarked?) but how do I get to the saved /bookmarked post. Sorry -this will take a little bit to figure out what I’m doing…

Click on your avatar (the big L) in the upper right. On the drop down menu you’ll see a bookmark icon like the one you used to bookmark the article in the first place. Click that and you will be taken to a list of all your bookmarked articles.

THANK YOU! I think I’m getting the hang of it!

It appears the original link posted above was from when the publisher was using a beta URL, which is no longer available. Here is the updated link for the publication:

(Jack Brien) #13

There is a response in the Journal that seems to refute at least some of the articles points regarding saturated fats. Has Noakes made a reply to this? Or any other response?

(Tim) #14

Do you have a link to the response?

(Jack Brien) #15

http://bjsm.bmj.com/content/51/2/133.responses
If the link fails, the response is in the article menu tab

Thanks for the quick response.
