Electrolytes on a fast?

I already asked Jimmy Moore on twitter but his answer wasn’t very clear. I asked him if you should put some salt in the water to keep my electrolytes up on his fast. His answer was basically only if you need it…but how do you know if you need it?

Typical symptom is headache, lower blood pressure, lower energy, dragging your feet…

also muscle cramps

Over-salted is better than under-salted, so I always salt my water. Tastes better too.

you need roughly 1.5 tsp more daily on keto so however you get it is up to you…

I nibble rocks. lol
And salt my coffee before and after brewing.

Well unfortunately i didn’t ask this before. That was probably it my stomach was cramping up something awful. Thats probably what made the fast so hard. Next time i will use salt. The last 5 day fast i did wasn’t that bad (well other than the 2nd day which i expected).
