They missed out “hard boiled eggs a la IT contractor”

Using a hotel kettle, suspend 2-3 eggs in a plastic bag (the special type you roast meat inside) so the eggs are below water level. Then keep the kettle at a rolling boil by flicking the switch on/off for the required amount of time.

An ex colleague of mine used to also boil hot dogs in the kettle water too. :frowning:

That cooking the egg whites first thing is ingenious! I love hard cooked egg whites with barely cooked yolk.
