Eating very few grapes - OK or not?

I can eat little of any fruit except melons I think (ananas is tricky too but it’s more than enough once in 1-2 years so not a problem). I pretty much avoided apple for a very long time (my body seemed to like them least? easy to eat much* and most of them are very very sugary) but now I eat it again sometimes, very rarely as it’s rarely worth it. 10g apple isn’t a problem but I often think about how I almost never would eat apples if I didn’t have my SO who eat them so I can get a slice

*I had a time when I ate 1 kg apple every day in the way home decades ago. My SO calls eating apples drinking… We both could stop somewhat early but it still was easy to eat much if we had no problems with it. The type of the apple changes this, hard apples are harder to eat than soft ones and I don’t see the point of eating much of a very flavorful kind where a little satisfies me. (While some other super flavorful items trigger eating more and more… Flavor and satisfaction don’t have a really strong correlatetion, apparently.) That’s why I liked frozen banana so much as a newbie ketoer, among others. Its satisfaction/carb ratio was superb (raspberry still was better but I needed fruit every day back then and I didn’t store much strawberries for off season. and I never buy any, just used what my garden gave me. but anyway, I like variety and very different fruits can’t substitute each other. especially when one has no tartness and the other has it).

Just remember the purpose of fruit in nature to begin with.

I eat my berries with whipped heavy cream. Yum! Sometimes I add some plain cocoa powder before I whip the cream - and it’s so decadent topped with some strawberry.

I make a smoothie to break my fast most days. My smoothie is made with, whole milk, almond milk, fresh baby spinach, avocado when I have them, flash frozen or freeze mixed berries, whey protein, and when I don’t have avocado I add coconut oil. It is a low of calories, but I is a full meal for me.
By the way I am not doing keto, just moderately low carb and fasting an average of 19 hours each day.

I fluctuate between low carb, Keto and carnivore, and I eat once or twice a day. It’s worked for me. When I think I want to lose some more weight (I can but don’t have to now) I go carnivore and it jumpstarts that for me. When I just want to maintain, I go low carb. And that very often ends up being Keto. I just flow with it.

I do that without the berries. Heavy Whipping Cream, a dash of coca powder, some stevia, add some cream cheese or sour cream, and often put it in the freezer for a while. Almost ice cream. I prefer it now.
But only do it occasionally. I don’t want to create a new craving for sweets.

I don’t use any sweetener - the strawberries are enough, albeit they are not all that sweet. Sometimes I put some frozen mixed berries on top instead of the strawberries, any berries will do…

I will try this today, without sweetener, of course. I don’t even try to live without desserts, it seems and feel plain impossible for me.

I like my tiny fruits all alone so the flavor doesn’t get lost  Strawberry is the only one I like with whipped cream as it’s not a sweet fruit, not always so tasty and needs some help. But I rarely eat strawberries as it’s not among my fav 20 fruits but we have a strawberry patch so I taste a few. It’s great when it’s good, I dislike it because it’s hit and miss.

Sounds like a mousse. Yum!

I forgot the cocoa… Oh well. But I try to stay as close to carnivore as I can anyway (not easy. fruits are everywhere. so I eat them but in tiny amounts, that’s as far as I can go right now). And sour cream and cocoa, does that work? Sour cream is sour and I never mix cocoa with sour (except if it’s about some red fruits :D) But it’s just a dash, okay, I will try it next time.

It really resembled traditional ice cream. It was very watery (just like traditional ice cream) so I added butter next time and tried some yolk too… Still too watery*, maybe I should use some mascarpone… I am all out of cream anyway

*Possibly just because I let it in for too long and never mixed it again so it froze solid… But it was fun

Dairy mixing can be lovely, once I mixed mascarpone with sour cream and vanilla and it tasted almost like a nostalgic retro dessert from my childhood! I loved that thing.
But freezing can change more than we would think and I barely froze a few things this far… Chocolate mixed with whipped cream, I froze that  Peanut and coconut oil, that too. But not my mascarpone/sour cream thing.

Ok sure. Great, I’m not sure. I would and do eat the dark red and blue fruit first thing in the morning. Raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries—about 1 cup (15 grams of carbs) total per morning, 4-5 days per week. There have been some studies that have shown that the colour pigment in these fruits is a key food source for Bifidobacteria. This will help with the gut biome and the cross-feeding of healthy bacteria.
