Apparently the famous American TV health show host Dr. Oz has been updating his knowledge base and improving his dietary advice in the last couple of years.
A dear friend who’s been interested in my LCHF/keto journey is an avid TV watcher who loves Dr. Oz. She has been getting seriously low carb the last month or two, and last night she told me she’s buckling down to do serious keto to make sure she becomes fat-adapted, etc.!!!
She mentioned that because of a combo of Dr. Oz’s education about carbs, grains, and good fats (he turned her on to Dr. David Perlmutter’s Grain Brain book, and more) and my own stories about my N=1 happiness (1.5 - 6 inches lost in various areas of my body) she’s convinced it’s the right path for her. She’s gotten familiar with the dangers of processed foods, carbs, and inflammation via Dr. Oz’s show.
I offered to be her buddy/coach, what fun!
So, if you’ve got people who are fans of Dr. Oz - remember that he has been planting some good seeds lately in the direction of nutrient density and hormonal healing - and seems less scatter-brained in his topics lately lolol.
