Down two sizes but no weight loss!

#1

I have been strict keto for three months and apart from an initial 1 kg weight loss (which is a pretty poor water weight figure, but the way) I have lost nothing on the scales.

My daughter bought me three shirts she has never worn and thought I might like them.
I normally wear a 16-18 Australian womens size, and my daughter is a pretty slim size 8-10, so I thought it was kind of her but a bit unrealistic.

Turns out the shirts are size 12, so I put one on.

IT FIT!!!
AND it looked pretty darn good - I would wear it out in public without having to pin it to stop the ‘girls’ trying to escape!!!

Bloody ripper!!!
It was a huge boost to my self esteem and I am a smug little keto-er just keeping on

I’m in this zone as well, losing inches but not necessarily using weight.
This is why it’s important to measure (and look for success) in many ways.

I have also noticed some positive developments despite lack of weight loss. My wedding ring fits again!
I stopped wearing it 15 years ago. Now i can wear it again.

My college ring fits again.32 yrs later. My wedding ring is loose. My wife of 20 years says “I’ve never seen you like this” She hasn’t! I’m Junior year weight…

If good things are happening, ignore the scales! Probably what will happen will be like… nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, Oooh, I’m down 5 pounds!

For just about all of us, the weight loss is NOT linear. And our bodies do have this thing built in where they will resist weight loss AND weight gain. Overcoming that can be a challenge.

KCKO!
