Down a shirt size, on the last belt notch

#1

I’ve been in XXL shirts for the last several years and yesterday I ended up being able to fit, comfortably I might add, into an old XL Under Armour fishing shirt I’ve not been able to wear in years. Also, I need a leather punch to make another hole in my brown belt as I’ve had to move it 4 notches.

Thank y’all, I’m about to start C25K and lifting instead of just walking a few days per week so that should help me further change my body composition.

Congrats! That’s great progress!

Congratulations on the NSV and enjoy the C25K, it’s a good program.

Congrats, Tyler! Betcha that XL will feel loose soon.

I tried punches, but there must be something better about leather working punches. A drill bit works better for me. The holes from my punch close up. The drill bit removes the leather in the hole.

I’ll have to try that Saturday when I have time. I did try another XL on tonight and it fit and wasn’t snug.

I was surprised because it isn’t a fishing shirt as they’re cut big to allow for movement and to be billowy.

I’m just surprised I’m able to wear XL shirts weighing 275, a loss of 60lbs currently.

Congrats =)).

I now need to go and get a drill to put another hole in my belt.

There is something liberating about drilling another hole in a belt. I can also remember going to a conference where they were passing out some shirts. “what size do you wear?” I said out of habit XL. She said you don’t look like a XL. Congrats on your victory!
