Silly semantics but this is your success not your Drs. BTW investing in a good scale and BP cuff is probably a good idea.
I’d agree- maybe I should have titled it “Doctor Visit Success”
I actually have a good scale, but the numbers game often becomes an obsession, and this new lifestyle work is both physical and emotional for me. I try not to rely on the scale, because my gosh even if I wasn’t losing weight, I feel amazing… and that is what matters most.
My blood pressure has skewed a BIT high for years (like, 125 or 130/85 or 90). On the morning of the first appointment I had two cups of caffeinated tea, which isn’t normal for me, and I was quite nervous about being at the doctor at all. Regardless, I am happy to see some healthier numbers.
Ok just a cuff then. Your BP is really much more important than your weight, as far as medical control issues (iow things you would have to see the Dr for)
