Doctor Impressed With My Progress

(Dameon Welch-Abernathy) #1

I went in for my annual physical today.
Doctor saw how much weight I lost (about 80 pounds according to their records) and that my A1C went from 6.5 to 5.9.
He even acknowledged I might “beat” diabetes.
He asked if I had done weight loss surgery.
I told him I was eating once a day, cut all the snacks, and reduced carbs/sugar.
He also noted that I was no longer “morbidly obese” just “obese.”

Meanwhile, he put in orders for blood work.
“Do I need to fast before this?” I asked
“No” he said.
Of course, I probably will be fasted when I get the blood draw

Yay!!! congratulations. This is wonderful.

Heads up (in case you’re not aware) than fasting more than overnight can change your lipids so that they might look higher than normal. Take a look at Dave Feldman protocol (probably several threads on here about it).

But mostly - well done!!! very impressive :star_struck::star_struck:

Great job. I go back in a week after 3 months, and 30 pounds lighter. Can’t wait to see what my blood work looks like.

Dave just put up a new video about fasting before testing.
