Do you guys take MCT oil everyday - do you have a favorite brand?

how much do you normally take, & when etc…

(Jade) #2

Yes. Twice usually. Once in my morning coffee and I usually put it in my afternoon cup. I really like Quest MCT oil powder.

Just once in the morning. I just bought Quest MCT powder but have been finishing off a bottle of pure C8 MCT oil that I got a while back.

Nutricost’s C8 MCT Oil Powder, via Amazon. Liberating not having to stress about having a blender.

Unfortunately, that likely means my scoop in every cup of coffee is overboard…

Nope! I only add it on days when I am low on fat in my food (such as a broth soup based lunch). There is so much delicious fat that I don’t often need to drink any.

I am one of those veggie people – I love veggies drowning in sauce, dressing, oils, etc. SO delicious and “fattening”!

I am in the beginning stages, Day 19.
I am using 45g in my BPC every morning, but I will stop the BPC’s when I am fat adapted.

I am not the biggest fan of drinking it…Usually I am taking it on the days I know i will be low on fat, but it’s not every day. I mush more prefer to eat fat with tasty food - there are so many variations!
I have Quest MCT oil powder.

(She had one feck to give and that feck is gone.) #8

I take Perfect Keto collagen (has MCT powder in it) for joints, nails, etc. I always get a boost from it.

Recently got their plain MCT powder and had it in coffee. Gave me a nice bump in energy and mental clarity. Set me up for the whole day.

I use MCT oil from NOW Sports (Amazon). It would take some getting used to drinking regular coffee now. I’m only 8 weeks in and eat a fairly simle unvaried diet and MCT oil helps me get my fats. I may re-think using it daily further down the road.

I got Zhou mct powder. I’m not sure if I’ll stick with It or not. It only has 4 gm of MCT pernscoop. I do like that only has 2 ingredients. MCT oil and prebiotic acacia fiber. It is equal parts. So 4 grams MCT and 4 grams acacia fiber. I think that is supposed to help with digestive stress of MCT? Not sure if I like it tho

Nope, never. For me I need real food or this becomes yet another weird diet. But that’s me, whatever works works and everyone is their own n=1 experiment.
