How can something be labeled as lowglycemic with 16g of sugar?

Is its glycemic index number listed anywhere? Low compared to what? What’s low to the person that wrote that description might not be low to you and me…it’s all subjective and that’s where the marketers like to play games with the unsuspecting public.

As I understand it, agave doesn’t do much to blood sugar because itmmis metabolized by the liver.

I thought agave nectar was just sucrose.
