Did I get to ketosis quick?

Hi,
First post. I started keto on Saturday. Carbs under 20, fats high, protein moderate.

Test strip showed purple on day 5. I feel AMAZING (when I have salt). I was expecting glycogen depletion to take longer than 5 days.

Maybe < 20 carbs and decent daily workouts got me there faster?

Is 5 days quick for a strip to show moderate ketone?

Being in ketosis is different than being fat adapted. You’ll quickly reach ketosis but won’t be really efficient with it until youre fat adapted. You’re good and on the right track. KCKO
