Hello all.
I’m quite new to the Keto way of living, (about 10 days). I know quite a bit of how it works and the basics.
The question I have is more of a technical one, or so it seems to me.
Question: when testing urine for ketosis, I know there are certain things that may impact it (hydration, fasting etc…) but if you’re excreting ketones through your urine would that not mean your liver is producing enough that you are peeing out any excess regardless of the reading on the stick.
In other words, wouldn’t any ketone reading above zero on the urine stick indicate that you are already producing enough ketones for sufficient energy or am I blind to come part of this science?
Thank you all in advance.
Sincerely,
Bergen
