Dear Tesco

Dear Tesco, when I search for bacon, why do you add Quorn to the answers? If I search for vegetarian, I don’t get bacon in the results!

Because it has bacon in the description so it is actually doing what it’s meant to…

Nope. Cheese and broccoli escalopes, various veggie sausages, mozzarella burgers and chicken style pieces. I don’t imagine they have bacon associations

The first one I was offered WAS meat free bacon.

BUT, notice the upper left corner says “OFFER” … think of that as like … other things you might be interested in.

Actually on almost every page, there are things that do not have bacon but they are hoping you will see something you want to add and spend even more.

I search bacon and I get bacon, which includes vegetarian “bacon” - search vegetarian and I get vegetarian, which also includes vegetarian “bacon”. Not sure what you could be doing differently :joy:

This isn’t bacon! :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

That doesn’t come up when I search… I think your search button is broken

Thinking about it, it’s probably because my wife buys that sort of crap and they’re just pushing additional items. B##tards.

Oh nasty… if it’s any comfort, my Amazon is loaded with baby stuff and cake making kit as I’ve ordered a few bits for friends using my Prime…
