Anyone who uses Walden Farms condiments - check your Sprouts ad (if you have Sprouts - week beginning 3/28). Mine has all WF condiments 2/$6. They also have prime rib roasts (choice) for $7.99/lb.
Deal of the week
My Aldi’s had family packs of chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on for .79c a pound this week. You know I had to get 2 of those bad boys, and there’s only 2 of us. I adore my chest freezer!
Best Buy has them on sale currently…they pay for themselves many times over…
I found a great website: flipp.com. You just register and put in your zip code. Then when you search for an item - like avocados, it compares all the ads in your area and brings up the ones where the avocados are on sale. I’m loving it! Found a couple of stores I hadn’t shopped at before with some great deals.
This week in Salt Lake City, Philadelphia cream cheese is 2/ $3 and large eggs are 99 cents for 18 count at Smith’s Marketplace.
Smith’s Food & Drug has Bragg’s ACV, 32 oz, for $3.75 (regular $5.99/bottle). Don’t know how long the sale is.
SafeWay in California has Pork Loin Chops for 99 cents a pound and Lucerne Cheese 2 pounds for $4.99
Both can be frozen for 6 months and retain quality
SafeWay in California has
Pork Loin or Bone-In Shoulder Blade Roast 1.49 lb

Whole Roasted Chicken 30 oz 4.99 (Found in Deli)

The Sprouts ad (in my area, Austin, TX - YMMV) starting tomorrow, 5/3/18, has pork shoulder for $.99/lb & Walden Farms condiments are 2/$5. Tomorrow is also the last day to get St Louis style ribs for $1.99/lb.
Starting tomorrow, at Sprouts here in Salt Lake City, the pork shoulder is $1.49 per pound.
Avocados are 3 for $1
Here, too, but they’ve been such a good price every week, I neglected to mention it!
This past week one of the local markets had some of the 99cent pork shoulder on special. I got some this morning, came home and cooked it for 2-3 hours on the stovetop… it was absolutely succulent. Very fatty as sale meats often are. Big yum!
The avos in the groceries have been getting better lately as the oil content increases as the season rolls on. Not quite to ‘primo’ yet however.
OMG! Some great deals at Aldi this week (Oct 17-24, 2018)! I checked central TX and New England on the following, YMMV in other areas, but CHECK IT OUT:
Rack of lamb $11.99/lb
Chicken wings avg 4.5 lb bag $1.79/lb
Avocados 4-pack $2.50
Grape tomatoes $.99/pint
Waffle iron $19.99
(Other great cookware deals)
Organic frozen kale $2.29/12 oz
One of the best Aldi ads I’ve seen in a while!
What did you Keto today? Part Deux!
Thanks
Heading there tomorrow for sure now
Chicken Wings, hopefully locally priced here as well😀
Here in Utah, blackberries are $0.99 per 6 oz at Fresh Market or Davis Food & Drug.
Mine was already sold out. I did get a rack of lamb, though - I’m going to sous vide it tomorrow.
