I live in L.A. County. We have a store here called Superior. This store caters to the Latino community.This week bone in rib eye 4.99 a lb. 5 small avocados .99 cents At Grocery Outlet Smithfield thick slice bacon 2 24 oz package 7.99 each. Winner! going back for a couple more steaks 2 steaks 9.00 and some change.

I live in Colorado. Normally eat bison due to cost of grass fed beef. Sprouts has grass feed hamburger this week at 3.99 p/lb. We stocked up on that. Avos were cheaper than normal too but I have plenty of guac in the fridge at the moment, so didn't get any. Cauli and broccoli were .99 per lb as well, cabbage 3 lbs for a dollar. So stocked up on veggies.

They’re going to have the big ones on sale again this week. Still coming in strong from Mexico. I’m going to freeze another big bag for the off-season.

I see occasional posts mentioning really good sales on foodstuffs, supplements, kitchen goodies, etc. and thought we should have one Central locus for all of them. Now we can search GREAT SALES and find the current posts. I’ll start:

If you’re in Sprouts Farmers Market territory, the sale that starts tomorrow (Wednesday 2-21-18) features whole pork shoulder for 99 cents a pound. This is going to be expensive - I need to go buy a chest freezer! LOL

Starting tomorrow, 3/14/18, Sprouts has Kerrygold cheeses B1G1 free! Also Kerrygold butter for $2.99 (if you can’t get WalMart or Costco prices).

Costco has salt & pepper pistachios marked $4.50 off a 3 pound bag starting the 15th.

For you folks in the LA-Long Beach CA area. Superior market has pork roast on sale .79 cents a lb. Starting 03/14. For Thursday only chicken drums are .49 cents a lb. Saturday Sunday sale bone in rib eye 3.99 a lb. Can we say more steak. Running out of room.

Smart and Final in California (Central Valley) has Avocado 2 for $1 ( limit 20). I haven’t seen them yet, but I’ll be checking them out. With 2 of us eating this way, we go through lots of avocado!!!

Savings
Spent 66.00 for enough meat for maybe 2 weeks. Got those steaks was debating whether to come back for the Sat sale. Well the kid at the counter was having problems with his scale. I got 4 ribeyes for 9.00. Holy Cow.

Lastest deal of the week for 3/21-3/27
Smart n Final whole chicken Foster Farms .89 cents per lb. Limit 4. Pork shoulder country ribs 1.79 per lb. I’m not sure this is a bargain or not. But here goes boneless skinless chicken thigh meat 1.79 per lb. Great for fajitas. LA county or long beach CA.

Anyone who uses Walden Farms condiments - check your Sprouts ad (if you have Sprouts - week beginning 3/28). Mine has all WF condiments 2/$6. They also have prime rib roasts (choice) for $7.99/lb.

My Aldi’s had family packs of chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on for .79c a pound this week. You know I had to get 2 of those bad boys, and there’s only 2 of us. :blush: I adore my chest freezer! :smile:
