Ok so it’s the morning of day 4 and I’m still feeling great. I’m down a total of 6.6lbs since starting. Woohoo…come off water weight. I don’t feel like I have the keto flu everyone was talking about. In a way makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong. Lol. Only thing is I’m a bit tired thru the day. I always have headaches almost on a daily basis so that’s normal for me and wouldn’t know if it’s the carb withdrawal or my normal headache. I’m at 20g carb, 90g protein and rest fat. Husband is doing amazing. He is very active at work so he’s working on 25g carbs, 140g protein and rest fat.he walks and does things at work for 10-12hrs a day. So that’s a good amount for him based on the calculator and he’s down over 10lbs. Waiting to hear from his doctor since 2 days ago he was told he is now diabetic. His fasting glucose yesterday was 185mg/dl so we are waiting for the doctor to schedule an appt. Will keep you all updated.
Day 4
There is a good chance that your headaches will improve - mine have. I have had migraines and headaches for decades and am finally enjoying mostly clear heads!
Welcome and looking forward to your updates.
Oh ill be so beyond happy of they go away. I’m right there with you. Migraines since I was 14, cluster headaches, ice picks, sinus, tension…you name it. Lol.
I did work in tandem with cutting my meds. I was on triptans and read a lot about rebound attacks and knew that was me. It was really hard for a while not taking them but it has paid off. Big time. There are supplements that help too like magnesium, feverfew, omega 3, and more.
its great that you are so much better. The only times I virtually had no headaches was when I was pregnant. both times. so to me that obviously shows something hormonal is off ya know.
Hormones were always a big factor in my migraines and still are - that is when I do get them still but way less than before. I was getting them for at least half of every month, it was nuts.
