Dave and Busters

Hi! Newbie here. I just started keto two weeks ago. I am going to Dave and Busters tomorrow to spend time with my dad for Father’s Day and I decided to look at the menu to see what I should eat when I get there. Everything looks really high in carbs according to the nutritional values posted online. The cheeseburger shows 114g of carbs. Is it possible for a brioche bun to have that many carbs and will I be ok if I eat the burger without the bun? Or are they doing something weird to their burgers? I would appreciate any advice. I’ve linked the pdf of the nutritional info.

Bunless burger, and make sure to skip any sauce other than mayo. While it’s possible that they might have something carby in the burger, it’s likely that most of the carbs are in the bun and sauces.

After looking at it, I’m pretty sure they are listing the nutritional information for the “menu item” which includes the fries and such that come with it. That looks to be the case for everything they have there, other than “add on” items which get their own listing.

If you look at their steak listing, there’s no way a new york strip steak seasoned with cracked pepper has that many carbs. There is a way that the mashed potatoes that come with it have that many though. Also, with the burger, there is the carbs in the toppings to consider as well that they say are included (lettuce, tomato, pickle, onions).

Yup. It has to the the sides. The American half rack of ribs is 264hr of carbs but the full rack is only 9gr more… so I would guess the full rack is 18gr. The other carbage is 255gr. Sub veggies for the potatoes/fries and skip the bread/bun/rolls and you should be fine.

Thanks for the advise. I’m really happy I’ve started this lifestyle. I feel so much better already. I’m not having sugar crashes anymore and my appitite has already gone way down.
