Dark chocolate and raw local honey

Both are very good for you but don’t really fit well in a keto diet.

Actually I guess the dark cocao does.

I want to find a good way to fit both into what I eat.

I just made up some 5 carb chocolate packs. I am only at 60 percent dark. I’m working on it.

I also put 1 tsp honey in my tea with 2 packets of Splenda.

What do y’all think about this?

I love chocolate! I generally eat the Lindt 90%. It has a reasonable carb count.

The darker chocolate is good for you and fits into keto. The honey, not sure. Just make sure that neither one triggers more sugar cravings.

I get the desire to have sweetness, and maybe reap benefits, but honey is basically semiliquid sugar, as far as carbs go. I use a wee bit of honey in cooking. Like a teaspoon or two for a pound and a half of mushrooms. But I’m not telling myself that there’s a health benefit to adding it, even though it’s honey I bought from a collective in Val D’Aosta in Italy, Wild mountain, thousand flower honey. It’s not really a health food, even if it’s arguably the best honey in the world.

Honey, It’s 17g of Net carbs to a tablespoon, so 5.6g for a teaspoon. if that fits in your count, yurt it up and have fun.
