I was curious about something.
- How many carbs do you consume per day or what is your upper cab limit?
- How long have you been doing keto eating?
I was curious about something.
For me personally, I just try to keep carb count to 15 net a day and have since I started this WOL/WOE. But I donāt kill myself if it goes over a little, because most times, itās under 10 since I prefer Proteins. (Meats) ⦠But Iāve always said if it get to a point where itās not working, or I just need to track everything, I will. For now I keep it simple and think this is one of the main reasons I enjoy it so much. (But Iām presently 33 Weeks into Keto.)
I also believe one of the main benefits of going LCHF, is that you lose your hunger, which allows you to eat 1, 2 or 3 meals a day, but, without any snacking. Which I think is a very important part, especially for weight loss. The not spiking your insulin every few hours with just a few chews, or multiple times a day, helps the best.
I stay below 30 carbs. I have been doing keto since sept 30, 2018
I am not sure of my upper carb limit but I suspect it is around 70. I have gone as high as ~60 and still not gotten out of ketosis.
I donāt track, just try to keep carbohydrate to a minimum. Iāve been eating a ketogenic diet since late February or early March of 2017.
I have stopped tracking. A few days a week, only meat and cheese. Sometimes veggies and nuts. Started April 2017. At maintenance weight.
I donāt track carbs strictly anymore, I just ballpark it. Been doing it 3 1/2 months, almost at maintenance weight.
Keto is easy! No sugar, processed foods, rice, bread, potatoes or pasta! Oh, and only berries.
I love cantelope. Heard about the cherries, as well. Not a big fruit eater, but cantelope with salt is wonderful. Sadly, no longer in season. Damn, apparently, I canāt spell.
I so fit into this community - I salt everything! I snack on salt. But honestly, I never thought about salting fruit until someone introduced me to it.
Just looked up the reason- The salt draws moisture to the surface and with it, flavour.
Will try it, especially when we end up with a melon that isnāt very sweet.
Pre-keto never cared for fruits. But I always liked melon - not very sweet.
259 Days, or 8 1/2 months, but hey whoās counting
