My daily carb limit is 20 net carbs, so I don’t go over 20.
I started eating this way on July 26, 2018.

I started at 50 total for about 3-4 weeks with good results. Lowered it to 20 total and went 20 net about a month ago. I started Sept 9 of this year.
Same here. I also like to put salt on cucumber slices and tomatoes. Salt affects the taste buds on the sides of your tongue while sweetness affects the taste buds on the tip of your tongue. The combination gets the majority of your taste buds in on the action.
I don’t deliberately limit anymore, just keep them low. Been keto since summer 2015.
I started with Atkins back in 2008 or 2009 and did the carb ladder up to about 50 net carbs a day. The past couple years, I have slowly gained weight, so I am back down to 20 or 30 total carbs a day, which is less than 20 net carbs. I started doing that consistently in November and lost 18 pounds so far.
I intend to stay at these levels to lose another 55 pounds. I know I can maintain successfully, having done it for many years, so I just want to finish my weight loss.
@Kage I’m pretty lazy about my carb counting. I have certain foods I usually eat, and I just know they keep my carb intake low, so I don’t worry about it.
A few weeks ago, I was curious and decided to track the food I ate that day, and the whole carbs were around 15g. That day was pretty typical of what I usually eat, so I’m comfortable keeping it around 20g or less.
I started keto January 2, 2017.[1]

HA! That’s fantastic.
Are you maintaining or still working to reduce weight?
PS - Thank you all! I was very curious because I know everyone has a different threshold for carb intake. I’ve been wondering if I am too low, but since I am new, I didn’t want to mess around too much just yet.
It’s hard to say how long because I just sort of stumbled into Keto. I started limiting my fruit either late spring or early summer (maybe may or june?) I’d already cut out everything else so stopping the daily half of banana put me on a Keto diet. So ball park, six or seven months. When I track - which I do periodically for weeks at a time just to sort of check in, I am about 30 to 38 carbs a day. That’s total and includes fiber so my net is lower. I use the fitbit app when I track and it breaks down % on carbs, fats, protein. And it seems the last time I was tracking a few weeks back - taking a quick look, my totals were anywhere from 5-11% carbohydrate, 13-16% protein, and the 70-85% fat. But I have been working hard to stay grain free since 2010 and I increased my healthy fats in March of 2016 and went no added sugar in March 19, 2018.
I had been maintaining 63kg but I just broke through my set weight point and plateau so now I am losing again! Only a few more to go though.
That’s exactly right, stick to under 20g a day, you can experiment later when you are keto-adapted and your body can tolerate more carbs but for now you don’t want to confuse your fuel source (fat)
