Cruise happy

Came back from a cruise 2 lbs down. There was no problem staying with my keto Lifestyle.

Great! What cruise line?
But I’m curious, what did you eat? Did you find food on the buffets/dinners or bring your own?

I’m going on an Alaskan cruise next June. I’ll be low carb (but not necessarily keto). I know I’ll have a great time and eat some really great food.

Carnival. There were buffets every meal or you could eat in the dining
room. Lots of options, prime rib, shrimp, salmon, chicken, oysters,
escargot, frog legs, stuffed mushrooms, broccoli, creamed spinach, cheese,
eggs any way you could think of, bacon, cream cheese & all the butter I
wanted. Bread, potatoe, rice & pasta was offered but I just asked for the
good stuff. The buffets had lots of jeto foods but also all the carbage
most folks eat. Nightly desserts were offered, but they also offered a
cheese plate with a variety of cheese wedges.

You will have no problem staying low carb. Are you doing the inland
passage. My hubby are planning that for 2018. What cruise line are you
goung on?

We haven’t booked yet, but I’ve done Princess before. Looking at doing a cruise that stops at Sitka because I’ve been to Ketchikan, Skagway and Juneau.

I might be going on an Alaska cruise with Holland America in May, so it’s neat to see this thread!

Awesome, we usually cruise once or twice a year. I have done them low carb, but never stayed keto. Maybe the next one! And the Alaska cruise is the best. My favorite of all.
