Coffee creamer?

Is coffee mate powder creamer okay for my coffee? No sugar and 1g carb except WTH is corn syrup solids???

Corn syrup is sugar. Heavy cream, coconut cream or butter are better options.

You could make it work, but it really doesn’t fit keto that well, especially when heavy cream exists. Corn syrup solids is pretty much dehydrated corn syrup. The only reason it comes in at 1 gram of carbs is because the serving size itself is 2 grams. It’s essentially half sugar.

YUCK heavy cream best, light cream next, half and half in a pinch, milk as a last resort.

Yeah, NO! That has HFCS and hydrogenated veg oil! Ewww! And it is only for a tsp, not a Tbsp! It falls into the junk food category and is not worth it, IMO.

No, don’t do it unless you’re absolutely desperate. Ie spouse used all the creamer and it’s a stat hol and nothing’s open. :joy: Even so don’t use it again for more than one or two cups for a long time.

Definitely don’t use it on a regular basis. It’s more like earthquake supply type of thing and then put it away in the cellar.

I do the bulletproof coffee. I put in a tablespoon of the Carrington Farms Ghee/Coconut oil. It tastes slightly like coconut and is delicious. I get it at walmart.
