Just had a drink full of coconut water. How much damage have I done?
I don’t know how many carbs were in your drink or how many you’ve had today. If you went over what your goal is, just get back on track ASAP.
There’s nothing you can do about it, just move on and stay very low carb today!
If it was just like 8 oz coconut water with no added sugar, somewhere around 10g. Not something to do again, but really not the end of the world.
Sorry, more info. It was a veggie shake bought at a store. Had Kale, Spinach, Avo, Mint, Lemon Juice. I asked them to take out the green apple, but didn’t notice the coconut water. I’ve been keto for 4 months. Ketosis levels are usually between 1.5 and 3. Today I’ve eaten an avocado, bpc and a small amount of Brie. And the drink. It’s now 4.45pm Melbourne time, so that’s my daily food intake.
You might have low ketones tomorrow and some cravings for carbs … resist those (with fat if it helps) and you’ll be back up on the keto horse in no time.
