I am experimenting with coconut flour. So far all my baked goods and tortillas have a noticeable taste of coconut flavor. This would be fine if I were making pastries; but it’s not what I want. Can anyone make a recommendation for a brand of coconut flour that does not have a heavy essence of coconut?

Not sure of a brand that will give you what you’re looking for. While I do use coconut flour for some recipes that call for it, lately I’ve tended to favor recipes that use almond flour, which I find has less of an intrusive flavor. Almond flour also isn’t quite as quick to absorb liquid, so I am less likely to end up with recipes that are overly dry.
