I can’t find the youtube video where I heard him on this, sorry. The interviewer asked Masterjohn why electrolytes are a persistant issue with keto. His answer, because fat doesn’t have much, if any, electrolytes. May be everybody here knew that already but I wasn’t understanding it that way until now. I find I have to track micro nutrients on this diet. (Cronometer is the perfect app for that.) I add lite salt to things I never salted before, eat more salty foods than in the good old days and must suppliment to get reasonalbe coverage on all the electrolytes, and a few other micro nutrients too. Electrolytes are a persistant issue with keto, not just starting out. I don’t mind, just sayin…
