Those are UK numbers (or at least that’s what Bruces user name implies) and its always Trigs divided by HDL.

Thanks, I’ve been mixing and matching my maths! Oops.

No worries but your Trig/HDL result is great… rather than a bit meh!

Let me ask you this: How often do you get sick?

There’s a theorized relationship between cholesterol and the immune system, higher cholesterol = better immune system.

I’ve not got a single cough/cold (other than half an hour of thinking one might be coming on before it’s gone) since going keto and all other issues (migraine, acid reflux etc) have all improved/ gone so the only negative that my family can bring is that I have high cholesterol and probably need a pressure washer to get my blood flowing! To be fair, given all the media attention about high cholesterol I can understand their concern but as I read more I am beginning to understand it is not what it neccesarily seems.

I’m quite an active member on another forum for diabetes and I compiled a thread with all the cholesterol stuff I think is correct and up to date. It’s publicly available so here’s a link.
Lots of others have added to it as well. It might take a while to get through…!

I’ll dig in! Thanks
