Chocolate tea

I am a complete chocoholic, so I am glad I can still have some chocolate when following Keto. About a year ago, I bought some Chocolate Truffle Tea from Dove Chocolate Discoveries. At the time, I didn’t really like it so much. Today, I discovered I still had most of the tin and made a cup. I added a packet of Stevia in the Raw. WOW! It was so yummy! This stuff is pricey, but I just made a second cup with the same tea bag.

That sounds good!

Last week I found some “chocolate” tea at TJ Maxx.

Surprisingly, it actually smells/tastes like chocolate! (no caffeine)

I’ve been drinking this as a sort of liquid fat bomb:

1 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tbsp. cocoa powder (I’m trying out Penzey’s high fat cocoas–natural and ditched)
1 tsp cinnamon
2 oz of hot water

Melt the butter and add the cocoa and cinnamon. Stir into a smooth paste. Add the water and mix well (I mostly skip the water).
If you like add some sweetener to taste (I’m “sweetener free” right now).

Because I don’t add sweetener, I use salted butter and it really helps cut any bitterness from the unsweetened chocolate.

This looks even better and definitely not so pricey. Thanks!

I’ll try this tomorrow!

I just ordered a box on Amazon. Looks like this tea is full of vitamins and antioxidants.

I hope you like it! I don’t get to that store very often, and was surprised at how many different teas and coffees they had.
