Carnivore blood test results, post ‘‘em if you got em

(Michael) #1

I was curious about carnivore blood tests that everyone may have. I posted my latest readings another thread which got very little traffic, but I would love to see the bloodwork of others, especially as I am one of the few nose to tail eaters. Anyone willing to share theirs? Any measure can count here.

Sorry @Naghite but I don’t do numbers or bloodwork or track anything.
I have to be dragged or on death’s door to hit up a doctor truly. I don’t do preventative or any of that maintenance type medical testing on myself. Now that is just me   So I truly can’t go there with ya on this part. On the zc forums on facebook many have their numbers/readings and chat this all the time and get good comparisons and info and more.

but key being a 1 yr carnivore will never have the bloodwork kinda as a 5 yr personn and our medical issues/conditions and possible real diagnoses can truly effect our ‘comparisons’ of course.

Hope ya get some traffic on this  It just ain’t me tho to support and chat in this since I got me no numbers on me

Read ‘em and weep. My doc Joe was alarmed, but is going to run an NMR and High Sensitive C-RP to see exactly which ldl I have. Since all my other numbers and health are great, he suspects there is more to the story. Joe knows I I am carnivore and supports it. In his words, “It’s time we stopped worshiping at the alter of LDL”… when no other heart disease symptoms exist.

Judging from your triglycerides/HDL, your NMR will show the healthy Pattern A.

Have you ever had a CAC scan done?

A year go. It was 30.

I can never understand bloods, i’m not very scientific but i always ask now if they’re alright if i have had any taken. i have had some taken recently since my stroke last year, for my long term health review. The surgery dodnt pass the reults on to me so i guessed they were okay cos thats how it works here, they only i form you if you have a problem. Anyway when i popped to see my Doctor to check this cough wasn’t an infection on my chest i mentioned the bloods and he took a look and said my cholesterol was down in the normal range… about 5 i believe he said. He said everything was really good. Must be my diet …:ox::ram::pig2::sheep::rooster::hatching_chick::fish::crab::shrimp:

It might be useful to get a second scan at some point, to see what the progression is.

Depends. If I get good news from these test results, I might very well stick my head back in the sand. La la la…

Then we’ll just have to start calling you Sandy.
