Carbs - 20g or 20%?

I will try this app, Stupid Simple Keto. I like Cronometer and My Fitness Pal apps but it might be fun to try something new. I am a person that has to measure and log my daily intake to be accountable. I stopped logging my food diary for a few months
along with not weighing my food for the day and I have noted that even though it was easier, I was not accountable to staying on keto as much as I thought I was. I ended up gaining 5-6 pounds, was snacking more, probably taking in more calories, carbs etc. So I have started logging and measuring and found I was way overeating. If I am going to have to measure and log everything, I might as well try something new. Thanks for your input on this topic.

I use lose it (premium version), it’s a general weight loss app rather than a specific keto one.
I like that I can scan bar codes to enter new foods also like that the info is presented in different ways. I like the graphical presentations, I find them really simple to grasp, but know that others prefer numbers and those are there too.
I’ve only found 1 food so far that didn’t scan properly, Tesco mayo came up as Asda tuna, but you can change things so that now works properly for me.

Hey Shaena,
Just purchased this app and started playing with it. I like it already!

Hey there! I have been using this app quite a bit this weekend, premium version, and I am not liking it. Sorry! My vote is for the Cronometer app. I started off with the Fitness Pal app when I started keto approximately 1 year ago. I then switched to the Cronometer app many months later and found it surprisingly easier. I became irritated with the My Fitness Pal app. It will not scan everything like Cronometer app does and I find myself wanting to measure everything almost in grams. My Fitness Pal does not have easy and appropriate ways of measuring. Who measures blueberries in fluid ounces? Really? That is the problem that I found and still find with my Fitness Pal App. It offers limited measurements or weights that are useless to me and I wondering if I am truly getting accurate readings. And I do not want to develop custom foods. It takes so long. I really wanted to fall back in love with My Fitness Pal because the one thing I love about this app is that I can select multiple foods to add to your daily food diary at a time. Unfortunately, the Cronometer app does not offer this option unless you save a menu. I just add one food at a time which is not the best when in a daily time crunch. Any suggestions or thoughts out there. I find that I am one that is more accountable to this lifestyle if I measure my food and document everything.

One wonders how our caveman ancestors ever managed without any tracking apps. . . .
