Hello All, I came across this site searching online about Keto Flu. I have been keto full-time since April and have had a ton of success so far. The 1 and only time I have cheated was last weekend during my best friend’s wedding. Dang those maple bacon cupcakes! Anyways, I’m pretty sure I am suffering from withdraws or the flu. Super SUPER tired, almost lethargic here at my desk and also a major headache. Had the cupcakes 3 days ago. The whole rest of the weekend I was tired but summed it up to my busy weekend, but today is the worst it’s been. Any advice on how to help with this? Coffee is definitely not helping. I IF 16:8 naturally with not eating breakfast, but starting my day with black coffee and then having lunch around noon. I also drink sole water first thing in the morning. TIA! (I’m glad to have found such an amazing forum to join!)

Salt salt salt! That’s always been a big one for me, personally, as well at potassium. Also be sure you are getting plenty of fat again, even if you didn’t before the cupcakes, you may need more to get feeling better again

What’s ‘sole water’? I hope you mean ‘salt water’ 
A lot of people have those symptoms from a lack of sodium. Make sure you are getting plenty of salt.

Sole is Pink Himalayan salt in water, a teaspoon a day = 478mg of sodium, so yes… Salt Water hahaha!

You still might need more sodium, though. Dr. Phinney recommends 3-5 grams per day.
