So I used CarbManager to scan some heavy whipping cream:
CarbManager tells me it’s 0g carbs for a cup. Can someone who had Chronometer or another app weigh in on what their app says?

MyFitnessPal states per tablespoon
50 calories
5g fat
Zero carbs
Zero protein
Hope this helps
A cup of heavy whipping cream has about 7 net carbs. Anything that says zero is probably using the tablespoon serving size, which is rounded down to zero.
I’ve just been letting it record as 0 when I log, since it’s mostly fat. I’m thinking of trying a fat fast (I want autophagy, but don’t exactly have the weight to spare).
Even double cream in the UK has 2.6g of carbs per 100 ml so I find it hard to believe that HWC which has less fat has fewer carbs,
Dodgy US serving sizes I guess.
That is not correct.
It’s showing zero net carbs because it is multiplying the stats for a 1-tablespoon serving size to get the 1-cup size. But the 0.4+ grams of carbs in a 1-tablespoon serving size is rounded down to zero. So, instead of showing the 7 net carbs (i.e. 16 * 0.4+), it is showing 0 net carbs (i.e. 16 * 0).
