This is to increase my Keto/IF adherence. I notice I did much better at ADF after posting about it here. :purple_heart:

I’m REALLY motivated not to have to post a fail here. But today, I experienced #CarbCreep

  • Broke a 40 hour fast (woot woot)
  • Had brisket, green beans, broccoli and rabe and Pepperoni pizza toppings (and a bit of crust)
  • At Whole Foods, which I’m forbidden from visiting :pensive: but I didn’t binge.
  • For dinner, a Cobb Salad YUMMMMM
  • 1/3 of a Ritter Sport hazelnut (I didn’t need it, just need magnesium and salt)

Back to fasting as of 6:00 pm
Thinking of doing KetoAde with no mixin tomorrow🤔

I was SUPER hungry last night, went to sleep, woke up hungry so I had:

  • Montezuma hot chocolate with butter, cream and swerve (violation, I know)
  • Ketoaid
  • water

Cooked dinner (Keto stroganoff, cauliflower rice, garlicky kale) and did not eat!!

The accountability of this thread is really helping, even if no one sees it.

I’m in hour 40. YAY

Won’t eat until afternoon. Big meeting, and I want peak mental clarity.

I’m thinking of breaking my fast at five guys. :thinking:

And a big dinner later to prevent hunger tomorrow

Update: I made 44 hours!!

Five guys bacon cheeseburger for lunch and Keto beef stroganoff with cauliflower rice and garlic sautéed kale. (Sprite Zero and some cashews) Back on fast at 6:30.

If this gets my waistline down from 37 to the twenties, I am going to LOSE IT!!!

In hour 15… 24 or so to go.

Not hungry at all, although I didn’t gorge on fat yesterday (avocados not ripe). But I had two heavy Keto meals.

I guess my eating window on feast days is six hours… one eating hour at fast breakage, a four hour break and another meal when I’m RAVENOUS at hour four.

Sipping Green tea. Also had a ketoade with SF koolaid packet. Road trip this weekend. (Yay). Planning to cook Keto for my diabetic aunt.

UPDATE- Hour 25. I have mouth hunger and am very tired. Probably just need salt…

UPDATE- Hour 32. Woke up with stomach cramps. Tummy feels smaller… I’m going to wear tight clothes this weekend, to help motivate my diabetic aunt to beg me for advice. :joy::joy::joy: She may get triggered and try to force me to eat crap (as she has before) but now I have this thread for strength.

Took the weekend off, back at it.

Hour 16, feeling slightly triggered to have something, hence this post. Accountability makes me more likely to stick with it.

I had two avocados yesterday.

I’m trashing the artificial sweetener drinks, sipping green tea with lemon, eating Gray Celtic salt.

I definitely need a smaller pants size, but waistline is still 37. :unamused:

Hour 14

I started off yesterday with perfect high fat Keto and veered off course later in the day (I have to avoid Whole Foods (the carbs were not worth it - danish, cookie, candy bar, quiche slice), even when I “feel strong”) so, interested to see how today goes.

Hour 21

It’s been harder today. Got a parking ticket, I’m pissed and very tempted.

Hour 23

Reset. Start over tomorrow.

Hour 19

Going rather well. I just invented (?) an unfortunate concoction of two green tea bags, salt and lemon to combat boredom/noshi-ness and drank it with the teabags in. Tastes funky- like a combo of pickle juice and feet. :joy::joy::joy: But it worked.

This is much harder than normal. Apparently I’m still not recovered from my slip up. I need another Keto day to prep for my 36. :weary::weary::weary:

Sunday was bad.

Terrible carb binge day. This is a pattern. I’m looking into the binging resources/threads here.

Back on Keto today, back to ADF after a few Keto days.

I had all Keto food, no sugar, but woke up disoriented, with oily skin and heavy shark week. I need to start tracking my food. :pensive:
