A new study on saturated fatty acids effect on cells: http://m.pnas.org/content/early/2017/11/30/1712555114.full. It’s currently being promoted as direct evidence of the harm caused by saturated fat consumption.

Where ?
The article itself doesn’t suggest dire consequences

As soon as I started reading it I was reminded of this video we used in the Air Force.

That is one smart dude.
I bet he’d know the answer to why I as a human need to worry that saturated fat messes up my endoplastic reticulum and why that should worry me as a human on December 3, 2017.
I am going to put up the Christmas lights and not have a care in the world.

Again, I’m reminded of another video. This one explains basic electricity.

The idea that study applies even in the slightest to human nutrition is 99.9% speculative at best. Pure waste of time. Their far reaching conclusions about saturated fat are LOL. If any keto’er fears saturated fat they can easily chose other fats. Simple.

I guess what that study proves, is that I shouldn’t marinate myself in fat. Nor should I main line olive oil? It also sounds like they didn’t get the results they wanted, so they shall set out to prove what they know, instead of searching for the truth. Hmm… doesn’t sound scientific at all.

Hmmm reminds me a bit of that paragon of research validity Mr A. Keys when you put it like that.
