They say we need 1 gram a day, how can we get that without relying on milk or dairy (ie cheese, which i don’t eat as much right now because of constipation concerns).
Does too little or too much have an impac on constipation?

I don’t worry about calcium at all tbh, and when I’ve tried supplementing in the past it has triggered migraines.
So kale for instance gives you 100mg for about 10oz. That’s nowhere near going to be enough
Do you eat Eggs?
If so you can make a daily Calcium supplement from the shells.
How to make (Edible) Eggshell Calcium Powder.
Save your eggshells.
You can leave the membrane in the shells but be sure to rinse out any egg white.
Once you have several, sterilize them in boiling water for a few minutes. Strain them and spread them on a baking pan and leave them to dry for twelve hours.
Bake your shells at a low temperature to completely dry them out for 10 / 15 minutes.
Using a coffee or spice grinder reduce them to a very fine powder, do a second mill if you need it even finer.
Store in a tightly closed Mason jar in a cool dry cupboard.
Add about 1/2 teaspoon powder to your food for 500mg of additional bioavailable calcium every day.
Adds new meaning to eating Whole Eggs… lol lol
Broccoli also contains calcium, plus magnesium, which you need in order to be able to absorb the calcium.
I would never have though eggshells were edible, I dont eat eggs because I can’t tolerate them unforunately but the eggshell is a good idea thanks
