Butter on

(less is more, more or less) #21

Oh, my. Liking this post is woefully insufficient.

<runs to store for dark chocolate, already got the butter>

I’d definitely have to hide this treat from my wife, however.

I add butter to most meats, now, such as for lunch leftovers. Unless they enter the stove as high fat, I find them too “dry” nowadays.

Butter on dark chocolate haha. Wow. I actually haven’t had any dark chocolate since starting this. Trying to start very strict with the carb intake, at least the first few months.

I like melted butter on steak, browned butter on broccoli, and add butter to hot bone broth (blended). And I love to spread some butter on a slice of nice sharp cheddar, it sounds strange but it’s very yummy!

Cheese. Any kind of cheese.
Bacon
Hamburger
Poultry
Pork
Beef
Prosciutto (and I bet it would be good on pepperoni, too)

Oh, wow! Mike, I love the way you think. Will you marry me?

I put butter on some steamed veggies for the added flavor. Broccoli, for example. I use it sometimes along with olive oil in cooking, or in recipes. I don’t just spread it on anything.

Butter spread on cheese, topped with Vegemite & rolled up in a lettuce leaf is pretty dang good :slightly_smiling_face:

(Running from stupidity) #29

I buy it salted. Easier.

Sear it in ghee (after the sous vide), empty the pan onto the steak (after taking the photo)

All fixed! :grin::grin:

Vegemite is awesome. Hot toast, lots of butter, Vegemite.

#32

Like a dagger in my heart!

Butter on the table in front of me. Wait for it… “It’s gone.”

Butter and salt on vegetables. :sunglasses:

Stuff seared in butter.

Vegemite: bleccch!!!

Can I just say I am extremely impressed by that sentence construction and the potential ambiguity therein? It’s awesome!

#38

In which case it was totes intentional

(bulkbiker) #39
