Seriously though, this has reminded me to focus on resistance exercise to build up some muscle. This would assist with energy usage and reduce insulin resistance.

Thank you for sharing @amwassil. I do wish the presenter would breathe. I am finding myself holding my breath as I listen, because he is not pausing for breath himself.

I hope he is right about upping protein improving resting metabolic rate - I have just started a slide into the carnivore pond and I suspect this will mean that I consume more protein. It will, however, mean no chilli pepper ingestion which have always been part of my regular keto regime.

Not heading for the cold shower any time soon :smile:

I do cold showers. I usually keep them warm while doing hair, then cool them off, as cold as I can stand. I don’t do them everyday though.
