Beginning of day 4 fasting. Made it through the worst I hope - moderate hunger that was a bit persistent. Been keto for 3.5 months (20g carbs)
BG this morning 3.2. Ketones 4.8
Question: what is the lowest level any of you have tested without any of the typical hypoglycaemia warnings? I should add Not experiencing any symptoms/warnings.

Dr Pompa says the ideal (ie. maximum autophagy) BG during an extended fast is 55-65 mg/dL. I think that translates into 3-3.6 mmol.
The lowest I’ve been 60, and like you, was asymptomatic. Unfortunately, it only stayed there for a few days before rising back into the low 70s.
Metabolically healthy folks have a low FBG, indicating insulin is doing its job well. It translates into a low A1c.

Thank you.
Been recording BG and Ketones since mid September. All but one BG have been sub 6mmol. I think I might graph them because they look like they have dropped on average over the second half of that period. All fascinating stuff.
