I’ve been on my keto diet 5wks today, I’ve lost 16 lbs bit lately I feel super bloated and tired AF I’ve been coming home from work napping , I’m not eating any bad carbs , I haven’t had 1 cheat day but idk I feel like I’m at a stall. My keto urine strips read I’m in ketosis still , but I felt way better in the beginning . I also have been IM fasting 18.6

I wouldn’t try fasting until you’re fat adapted, which is usually a couple months in. Can you share what you’ve been eating? Sometimes there’s hidden carbs and it can take time to learn where they’re hiding
I think I started feeling a little worn down a few weeks in, though not sure of the timing. Make sure your getting plenty of salt and magnesium.Get extra sleep and if your anything like me in a few days you’ll start feeling really good. I’m 5 months in and though I’m not always feeling totally energetic, I always have enough energy for the day.
Today I broke my fast at 11 , I had carne asada , with guac , sour cream and cotija cheese and some salsa .
I’m about to eat next tilapia and zucchini cooked in coconut oil with shredded carrots . That’s it for the day .
Sounds delish, though I can’t eat tilapia as I’m sadly allergic to fish. Make sure to salt liberally. That is one thing I noticed helps me a lot.
Or, it could be the problem. Salt helps the body maintain proper blood volume. Too much salt could cause swelling. I presented with swelling. My doctor asked me what I ate*, and said “yeah, that’s lot of salt,” and of course I added adobo and Tony Chachere’s to it, too.
*Pork sausage (ground pork and salt, no other ingredients other than spices I added myself).
Salsa and guacamole too if they aren’t homemade can have lots of carb adding extra ingredients.
No not at all , I drink water through out the day , I try to count my carbs on my fitness pal , I’m not real good on macros I’m still confused
