Blew past 20g carbs in a glorious meal and I don’t care

Tonight I had Chinese hotpot for dinner, which when you factor in the seasame sauce with garlic and other yummy things like different types of tofu and the math was done in MFP (best estimate because it isn’t complete or accurate and I also wasn’t weighing portions) my day ended up at 80+ grams of carbs, and 150 grams of protein…

But at the end of the day you are allowed for the occasional blow out and to feast amid the fasting. I remember Richard was talking about his involvement in a truffle festival and it was just a matter of simply returning to Keto.

Life can’t be all self denial :slight_smile: At the end you just wipe your mouth, grin and resolve to KCKO tomorrow

Thanks mate. I’ve been back on the Keto wagon since. Not sure of my state of ketosis but I know that sticking with it will get me back into nutritional ketosis sooner or later.

Nah. Nothing happened. I’m still relatively new to Keto (over a month) and while I do 16-8 fasting and the occasional EF I don’t think I a fat adapted as yet.
