What do studies show is the best version of the keto diet for cardiovascular health?
I currently eat, every day:
3/4 cup milk,
1 egg
1 cup collard greens cooked in olive oil with half an onion, one tablespoon garlic, 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper and with one slice bacon crumbled throughout
1 cup broccoli
1/4 cup potato with 1 tbsp sour cream, 1 tbsp cheddar, garlic salt, jalepeno slices and cayenne pepper sauce
1/4 cup cashews
1/4 cup pecans
1 mozzarella stick
9-12 strawberries
15-30 olives
1-2 cups chicken varying from light to dark meat
I keep under 50g carbs per day and am always in ketosis. Yes I know that potatoes are considered not keto by many, however there are only so many foods that have a nutrient profile as rich as a potato so I make room for them. 1/4 cup is only 7 carbs and is packed with vitamins and minerals.
