Benefits of HIIT (good write-up)

Passing this along both because it specifically mentions the positive effects of high intensity interval training (HIIT) on insulin sensitivity, as well as mitochondrial function, both of which may benefit ketoers, and also because it’s one of the best write-ups I’ve seen lately explaining both what the science says, and what we can’t infer from the study results.

It’s sadly rare to see a science writer discuss the caveats and limitations, so it was nice to see them called out here.

Funny – I was just reading an article this evening that I found very interesting on this same subject. I have been incorporating some HIIT on my elliptical a few times a week although I’m not as consistent as I should be.

I was reading about the benefits of Nitric Oxcide when I came accross this article:

This author also mentioned the benefits of HIIT on insulin sensitivity. Guess I better get more consistent!
