Believing in God can combat diabetes

Does it matter which god?

Hindus must have like 0 risk.

I certainly worship cows–especially their livers and ribeyes.

I used to believe in a lot more things as a child and I enjoyed sweets without sign of metabolic syndrome. As an increasingly cynical adult I developed pre-diabetes. So plus one for the protective power of faith.

But eating keto despite increasing my loss of faith in institutional medicine and governmental nutritional guidelines appears to have reversed my path to diabetes. My guess is those choosing prayer to combat diabetes will be better heard when fasting or eating keto.

grumble to self “I knew better than to click that link. I knew better than to click that link.”

“Accepting that someone created and now rules the universe encourages sufferers of the deadly condition to adopt a healthier diet.”

Really? How so?

If God “created and now rules” my metabolism, I should just eat whatever I feel like and let God decide whether I get fat or not.

I worshipped a butter-slathered ribeye for lunch. It was a soulful experience.
