Beginner's phase

I was wondering how long the beginner’s phase is supposed to last. I’m still really tired and am having the hardest time ever doing IF, which I usually love.

Any ideas?

Some people say the tiredness can last a few days to weeks. A recommendation I read was to wait 4 to 6 weeks before doing IF to ensure you are fat adapted. I am in week 6 and just about a week ago was able to start IF. But there are some days I just feel hungry in the am so I go ahead and eat. Just listen to your body.

ok. I’m glad that i’m not the only one like this. I probably won’t start it again until maybe March. I’m not sure I’m in ketosis or not.

I did t become fat adapted until around four or five months. So make sure to eat when you are hungry.

I probably wouldn’t do IF until your energy levels have stabilized… especially if you are hungry.

ok thanx. I’m still insanely hungry but am not doing IF at the moment.

I have quit IF for now but have started buttered tea and makes me feel energetic until I eat lolz.

i am having a hard time getting in enough fat now.
