Back to keto...but so hangry

Hello.
I went keto last year and lost about 10 lbs fairly easily. Then life happened and i gained it all back.

Now I’m trying to go keto again as a transition to a multi day fast, But I’m getting so irritable trying to stick with keto foods (shaky, irritable, hungry) . Any tips ?

I’m eating plenty of bacon, chicken, mayo, salad, eggs…etc, but then again its only been 24 hrs so maybe I just need to push through.

The first 3 days were tough for me. I added butter to everything. Then it got easier. KCKO

How are the electrolytes doing? Those symptoms sound like something is missing, try sodium since it helps balance the others first. If you still feel this way, up your magnesium, if that fails try minimal supplementation of potassium.

You were able to do this before, you can do it again.

I did have some salt and lite salt and what I thought were intense sugar cravings seem less now.
Maybe a little electrolyte deficiency or maybe just coincidence of timing.

A little more about me. I have 50 pounds I could lose. And I have had “pre-diabetic” blood sugar levels on my last 3 blood test. My doctor seems happy if the numbers don’t get worse but I am kinda concerned.

I know keto can be a benefit and I’m hoping that a multi-day fast will help jump start my health and weight loss.
