I have started my low carb journey over and over many times. This time I have decided to follow the Keto food plan and stick with it. It is not easy with a husband who can eat anything and never gain weight. He is very active though. I can barely walk due to bad knees, but after following my plan now for two weeks, I am finding I am able to walk a little better. Plus I feel good compared to how I felt before. Yesterday I wasn’t hungry all day and didn’t eat till afternoon, unfortunately, I think my husband must have been hungry and never mentioned it because he was busy working outside. So yesterday afternoon after we ate, he asked if I would mind if he went to the store and got himself some ice cream…now that and/or pizza is usually my downfall. That is where I always stray. But not yesterday, I was not even tempted! I was so proud of myself. He ate the ice cream outside in his shed. Afterwards he didn’t feel so good. He keeps telling me he wants to eat this way, but never sticks to it. If he goes in a store, it is all over for him. If I go in the store, I find all types of good foods for my Keto plan! The reason he usually does the shopping is because of my limited walking ability. Soon I think I will overcome that. I love this forum and you members are so informative! Thanks for being here.

The funny thing is he did it again today. He asked if I minded if he ate it right by me at his computer and I said no. It really didn’t bother me at all. I didn’t even wish for some myself. I am amazed at my willpower but it is more than that I am sure.
