Aspirin takes another hit (bleeding outweighs CVD benefit?)

Aspirin takes another hit:

There is a small (really small) benefit for CVD (cardiovascular disease), but possibly outweighed by almost double the risk in bleeding.

I just stopped aspirin this week. I haven’t told my doctor yet, but I am sick of bleeding every time I scratch my forearms or lightly bump them while passing something. I had a small divot of skin dug off the surface a couple of weeks ago and it took an hour to clot. And I have blood blister patches all the time and I don’t even know why usually. I have been taking it for 20 years.

interesting

When I take aspirin for headaches I get bleeding after shaving.

I never took it for heart health
