Apple Watch can Detect Diabetes

Interesting article about how the Apple Watch can detect diabetes with 85% accuracy:

This goes along with what I believe about insulin affecting heart rate. When insulin is high–especially with insulin resistance–heart rate is high. In the mornings my heart rate is often 80+. However, by the evening, it is usually 50.

I have found the heart rate monitor to be waaayy off. I have tightened the band to see if that helps.

I get warnings that my hart rate is over 120 and I am not moving…when my heart rate is no where near 120.

I don’t even have an Apple Watch, btw. For my heart rate measurements, I was using other sources that are great.

I have v3 but i tend to wear watches a bit loose. Will see what happens now that its tight. I don’t like it like this but the data would be nice to have.
