Anova & IOS App

So Anova had an app update the other day and after the update, I lost all my previous recipes. And it didn’t save my cook from last night. WTG Anova! :unamused:

That app is useless. I use the controls on the stick.

Yeah, the timer function in the app is nothing but an annoyance - forces you to stop your cook to clear the beeping (unless they finally fixed that). Regardless, I’ve always used my calendar to time my cooks - has the added advantage (for multi-day cooks) that I make sure I don’t make plans the night that a cook’s completing.

I like the Paprika Recipe Manager app - they have it available for virtually every platform and have their own cloud sync - so it doesn’t eat up any of your own cloud storage and syncs your recipes across all of your devices.

They also have a grocery planner in there…in case anyone gets to the point of actually mapping out all of their meals in their calendar. :slight_smile:
