Another salt query - salt aversion

I’ve been low carb for ages and am now approaching zero carb. I’m not at ZC yet but I’m reducing veg to very little, still using cream and butter, mostly focussing on eating beef, with some crab and prawns. I’m finding that I have an increasing aversion to salty food. I can no longer tolerate bacon, even low salt bacon, and I had to give my last packets away. The person who then ate them assured me that the bacon was perfectly normal and not over salty at all.

Today I found that some avocado oil mayonnaise that I used to like and ate a lot of a few weeks ago is now too salty for me to enjoy much.

I’ve never been that keen on salt, though I used to have a sprinkle on my porridge, with cream. But this distaste for salty food is new. Anyone else found this?

I had the same issue with my bacon I buy a specific brand I love it melts in your mouth . One day I made it and I could barely swallow it , it was so salty it was horrible sadly I don’t buy it anymore I surely do miss bacon though .

I’ve tried so many different brands and have come to realise that it’s not the bacon: it’s me!
